Described as “a guy on a natural high,” Wayne was a good friend to many. After graduating from Heidelberg, he received advanced degrees in Church Music and Theology. His life reflected his curiosity for all things. He served as a choral director, track coach, church musician, librarian, mentor, pistol instructor and pastor.
